katy perry interview was super awesome. her sense of humour is wicked. a hong kong dude named johnson questioned her on her opinion of asian guys, and the first thing she did was laugh long and hard after asking for his name. aaah. we also got to listen to some of her new tracks during the listening session.. i wasn't a fan of katy before this but yeah, i'm definitely sitting up and taking notice of her now. keep an ear out for the song 'peacock'. ridiculous track.



anyway, we could take photos/record/get autographs in the end for a while anyway, simply 'cos katy was so accomodating. luckily i still brought my cam along. although we had to wade in the infinitely pool to take photos and ask questions. wading in chest-high waters with a raging fever wasn't a good idea. especially since i had to sit in the train from marina bay all the way to yishun with soaked clothes. also mistakenly drank some champagne that was offered during the press con, thinking it was some other beverage. whole body burned afterwards like a bitch.



marina bay sands skypark's $20 fee to get up isn't worth it though. the scenery was so-so, or maybe it was because the press con was held late afternoon. i'll bet evening skyscraper lights'll be more beautiful.

singfest in a bit! will be doing more press coverage. with a fever. i hope it heals quick.

i fistbumped the lady who loves feist...and bjork. olivia ong is a very classy lady. she was also v down to earth...so much for the nerves.
